KUNSTVERMITTLUNG / DISKUSSION / AUSBILDUNG

Das Künstlerhaus Mousonturm versteht sich als eine aktive Plattform für Künstler aller Kunstrichtungen und deren Betrachter, für Wissenshungrige und Vergnügungssüchtige, für Neugierige und Fachkundige. Der Mousonturm bietet allen die Gelegenheit zu einer lebhaften Kommunikation, zu kontroversen, anregenden und angeregten Diskussionen.

Bei Aufführungen, die sich den Zuschauern nicht so leicht erschließen, bringen Einführungsvorträge die ästhetischen Besonderheiten einer Choreografie oder die Tanzpraxis anderer Kultur nahe (2005 Korea, 2006 Indien). In der talkART, dem Publikumsgespräch nach der Vorstellung ist das Publikum eingeladen, die anwesenden Künstler, Regisseure, Choreografen, Darsteller zu be- und hinterfragen, zu kritisieren, aber auch zu motivieren - auf jeden Fall aber über die jeweilige Produktion zu diskutieren.

Als Ausbildungsbetrieb übernimmt der Mousonturm auch gesellschaftliche Verantwortung: Ausgebildet werden technische und administrative Fachkräfte für den Kulturbetrieb. Derzeit: vier Veranstaltungstechniker, zwei Veranstaltungskauffrauen.

ART COMMUNICATION / TRAINING 

The Künstlerhaus Mousonturm conceives of itself not only as a facility for production and performance, but also as an active platform for artists from all branches of art, and their viewers, for those hungry for knowledge and addicted to pleasure, for specialists and for those who are simply curious. Mousonturm offers everybody the opportunity to take part in lively communication and controversial, stimulating and excited discussions. Moreover, Mousonturm is a place for training and further educating professional artists and specialists who work in the culture sector.

In the case of performances that are not so easy for spectators to understand, an opportunity is provided in introductory talks to become informed in advance about the special aesthetic features of a choreography or the practice of dancing in another culture (2005 Korea, 2006 India). In talkART, the public discussion after the performance, the audience is invited to ask questions of the artists, directors, choreographers, actors who are in attendance, to query and criticize them, and also motivate them, and in any case to discuss each production.
As a training facility, Mousonturm also assumes a social responsibility: specialist technical and administrative staff are trained for work in cultural facilities. At present there are four event technicians, two event purchasers.
