Open Calls

For her upcoming group dance production choreographer Doris Uhlich is seeking versatile professional
dancers and physical performers. Applicants should be prepared for an intense, energetic, and
collaborative creation environment.

What We Are Looking For:

• Professional contemporary dance background, professional stage and working process experience
• Strong physical stamina, a deep curiosity for endurance, and intense physical/energetic states
• Openness to working within a collaborative, exploratory rehearsal process
• Openness to working with nudity

We are explicitly interested in performers of all ages, body types, sexualities, identities.
Project Timeline:

• Audition: July 3rd 2026 in Vienna or July 19th in Vienna or September 6th in Frankfurt
• Rehearsal Period 1: first two weeks of December 2026 in Vienna
• Rehearsal Period 2: starting mid April 2027 in Frankfurt (exact dates to be specified)
• Premiere & Performances: May 2027 in Frankfurt (exact dates to be specified)

A production of Schauspielhaus Frankfurt and Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm

Payment & Conditions:

Selected dancers will receive a temporary employment contract covering the rehearsal and performance
periods. Remuneration is based on the minimum fee recommendations of IG Freie Theater in Austria and the
guidelines for performing artists in Germany. Travel and accommodation within the EU will be covered during
the creation process.

1. CV with a portrait photo: Max. 1 page, PDF format, highlighting relevant professional experience.
2. Short motivation letter (max. 1 page)
3. Video Link: A link to a video platform (Vimeo or YouTube, unlisted/public, no passwords if possible)
containing:
  A 2-minute video of unedited/uncut and recent improvisation of yourself (shot within the
last 6 months).
