The symbols for various accessible services are explained below. On each event pages, the symbols indicate what services the event has to offer.
Audio Description and Tactile Tour
We regularly offer audio description and tactile tours for blind and visually impaired people. The tactile tour takes place ca. 60 minutes before the performance. The stage area is explored and props and costumes are described. If possible, the performers introduce and describe themselves. During the audio description, events on stage are described during the performance via wireless receivers. This enables blind people and people with visual impairments to access the visual elements of a piece: movements, gestures, facial expressions, stage design, costumes and props are described. It is possible to use your own headphones with a mini-jack connection or to borrow headphones.
