Lu Chieregati

Luciana Chieregati is a choreographer and performer. She develops her work in the field of performing arts, creating pieces that focus mainly on the creation of language through choreography. Graduated in Dance and Movement at the Anhembi Morumbi University (Brazil) and Master in Scenic Practice and Visual Culture at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, in collaboration with the Museo Nacional y Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (Spain). During the last years she has developed the choreographic projects FLORESTA, GHOST ANIMAL FUTURE, TEKNODRAG and DENTRO. Co-directed with Idoia Zabaleta and Ixiar Rojas P.I.C.A – Collective Imagination Program in artistic creation processes at Espacio Azala (Basque Country). She also co-coordinated with Ion Munduate the Dantzan Bilaka Program of the Department of Culture and Linguistic Politics of the Basque Government. She currently lives between Barcelona and Giessen and is studying a Master in Choreography and Performance at Justus Liebig University.
