The 21st Nippon Connection Film Festival is inviting to an exciting journey to Japan, full of intense emotions and new perspectives! For six days, the Japanese film festival presents its program online – more than 80 current short and feature-length films across all genres will be screened, from arthouse and documentary to blockbusters, animation and music films. This year’s focus “Family Matters – The Japanese Family Between Tradition And Modernity” is dedicated to the question of what family is all about nowadays. Many filmmakers participate in online talks live from Japan. Digital lectures, performances, and concerts complement the program.
