All That Is Wrong

Mousonturm Saal

Performance

As a teenager, Koba Ryckewaert burned Barbie dolls, called adults caged animals and gave tips on how to become a bag of bones in various projects by Ontroerend Goed. Now she is eighteen and asks herself what to do with all these skills in light of all the things going wrong in the world. So she starts by looking at herself.

All That Is Wrong describes how it is to become an adult from Koba’s perspective, who is smack dab in the midst of the process. And it explains whether and how artistic strategies can help in the labyrinth of relationships between people, things and events. How can we intervene in order to change things, when everything must be done everywhere and nothing helps? It is about decisions. Even if merely in order to see them through.
