Antanzen – Waacking mit Sienna

Mousonturm Probebühne 3 (4.OG)

Waacking is a dance style that originated in the 1970s in the Black and Latino gay clubs of Los Angeles, and gained visibility through platforms like the US television show “Soul Train.” This art form is characterized by fast, expressive arm combinations and movements that evolved in club culture, as well as in other areas such as the film industry (Martial Arts, Jazz Dance).
Waacking is not just a form of dance; it is also a means of self-expression. Dancers use their performances to tell stories and convey emotions. This exchange has made a significant contribution to the diversity of urban dance culture and inspires people worldwide to express their personalities through dance and music, creating an energetic and unique atmosphere.
