Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm

For graffiti artist Bomber, art does not take place in museums and galleries, but rather in public spaces. Street Art is part of his biography and his way of communicating. Typography, individual forms and the actual specific site thereby merge into a single statement. During the hip-hop conference, he will be aesthetically dealing with issues of gender and the body as he sprays a new piece on the 32 sqm of the Mousonturm foyer. In addition, His photo exhibition will feature rap pioneers from Frankfurt, who left their mark of the sound of the city in the 1990’s.
Helge Steinmeier a.k.a. Bomber is a communications designer and in 1992 organized the Spring Jam in Frankfurt together with Cutmaster GB. He works as a graffiti artist across Europe since 1988. In 1994, he joined the Zulu Nation. He is also a founding member of the HEADLAB Media Agency, the artists cooperative ABSOLUTE GRAFFITI and of Einwandfrei e.V.
