When hunting, polar bears cover their noses with snow in order not to be seen. Every year, sharks kill ca. 12 people. You can’t kill yourself by holding your breath. Butterflies taste with their feet. “CRAZY BUT TRUE” is a staged conference for kids, teens and adults, which satisfies the hunger for crazy facts. Anyone between the age of 8 and 11 can spontaneously and actively participate without prior rehearsal: as experts, they take a seat on stage and can show off their knowledge of clever facts, which are whispered into their ears via headphones, to the adults and older teens, who have made themselves comfortable in the auditorium. All visitors and participants of “CRAZY BUT TRUE” can come, go and return at any time, while a web of crazy, serious and funny facts is woven straight across the globe. All children, who want to actively take part, can come to the info desk in the foyer during the performance without prior registration and play around and get comfortable with the headphones beforehand. There will always be three children together on stage. Every expert is on stage for exactly 12 minutes, then they switch. And if the queue isn’t too long, everyone can go on stage more than once!
