In Cuculand Souvenir, the spectacularity of circus and highly virtuous dance merges with visual arts into a large-scale performance. Catalan contemporary dance maker Roberto Olivan bets on the risky nature of an innovative language to explore the impact of technological evolution in our daily life. Seven performers show intertwined stories linked to technology and exploring the fine line between appropriation and addiction that shapes our daily experience of technological progress today. For this latest creation Olivan cosigns his work with the sound of electroacoustic music sculptor Laurent Delforge and Romain Tardy, one of the most important visual artists of the current digital scene.
