Over four days, the first-year students from the MA in Choreography and Performance (CuP) program at the Institute for Applied Theatre Studies in Gießen will share current interests and explorations in performance. The program will vary from evening to evening.

Biography
CuP
The international study program Choreography and Performance at the Institute for Applied Theatre Studies at Giessen University combines artistic work and embodied practices with reflexive approaches and critical thought. It stands for an expanded notion of choreography. Concepts of the body and movement are not only analysed and discussed in relation to performance and visual arts, but also in regard to their relevance for actual aesthetic, social and political contexts.
