Nine students from the Hessian Theater Academy are working together on a conference that officially and unofficially highlights security as a social focal point. The “unkonferenz” promotes mistrust and curates conflicts. Informal dialogs allow different stages of insecurity to emerge and workshops focus on unexpected perspectives. Today, the unkonferenz is a unique forum for debates on internal insecurity policy. In the heart of Europe, perspectives are eroded, horizons of clarity discarded and premises evaluated. We offer a platform for diplomatic abstention and unspecific approaches that question established security structures.
