Adrienn Hód is one of the most important voices in Hungary’s young, contemporary dance scene. The newest production Dawn by her four-person company Hodworks focuses on the naked body. It unfolds as a landscape, contoured by the outlines of the muscles, the paths of the veins, the structure of the skin, its wrinkles and lines. The choreography systematically and without sentimentality focuses on the animalistic, the anatomic-mechanical aspects of human nature.
