Frankfurt is getting a new museum! The German Museum for Black Entertainment and Music is Germany’s leading museum for Black culture, popular music and history. It houses a comprehensive archive of records, magazines, autographs and memorabilia, which are exhibited in a vibrant place of communication and discussion about Black history, accompanied by an extensive outreach program. Alone or in guided tours, visitors can immerse themselves deeply into a movement that includes stars such as Mola Adebisi, Tic Tac Toe and Sydney Youngblood. In juxtaposition, they gain new visibility and reveal similarities and differences in their performances, strategies and attributions.
