Aerowaves/Performance/Dance

An actor and three dancers tell the touching story of a neurologist, who suffers a stroke and so, becomes his own research object. The piece describes the devastating effects on his brain minute by excruciating minute. One half of the brain is paralysed. iI turns out that a person can feel happier with half a brain than with a whole one: happiness, enlightenment at the cost of half a brain, the price for choosing between oneself and the rest of the world. Mor Shani’s choreography asks whether we are willing to pay such a price in a sometimes humorous and sometimes bitterly serious way.
