The writer and translator CLEMENS J. SETZ, born in Graz in 1982, studied mathematics and German. He was awarded the Prize of the Leipzig Book Fair for his volume of stories Die Liebe zur Zeit des Mahlstädter Kindes, published in 2011. His novel Indigo was shortlisted for the German Book Prize 2012. His novel Die Stunde zwischen Frau und Gitarre won the Wilhelm Raabe Literature Prize in 2015. For the Frankfurt Positions 2017 he was contracted to write a piece that will be premiered by the Nationaltheater Mannheim.
