Workshop for professional dancers and dance students

This workshop is a unique opportunity to get to know the choreographer and dancer Chen-Wei Lee, who is presenting her new piece, “Burnt”, at the Tanzfestival. As a certified Gaga trainer, Chen-Wei Lee leads a two-hour class in this movement practice that has had a strong influence on her work. Lee was a member of the Batsheva Dance Company from 2010 to 2015, performing in pieces by Ohad Nahrin, who developed the Gaga technique. Gaga combines the imagination with physical perception, and strengthens dancers in their flexibility, stamina and agility by guiding them through joyful multisensory experiences.
