Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm

At the end of a two-week work residency at Mousonturm, we invite Morwan to a concert at the Lokal. The name stands for the young Ukrainian musician Alex Ashtaui. Originally based in Kiev, he has been living in Berlin since the Russian attack. His solo project is causing quite a stir on the post-punk scene, revitalising the genre with a dark melange of driving percussion, stoic bass lines and a unique melodic and acoustic language. His concerts feel like electrifying flash hypnoses, carried by voice, stringed instrument and a rhythm machine. Before and after, Jenne at the turntables will ensure a stir on the dance floor and in your auditory canals.
