You can hear a half-hour radio format of the performance “gorlepin oam ratt” (racket in the evening), which TinTinPatrone presented in public space: a science fiction opera with a three-person choir in the tradition of the Appenzeller Alpsegen (Alpine blessing). Patrone’s performance is in Manisch, a sociolect that is still partly spoken in central Hesse, in North Rhine-Westphalia and in the Salzkammergut.

Biography
TinTin Patrone
TinTin Patrone is a German-Filipino composer, musician as well as performance and sound artist. TinTin Patrone founded the group Krachkisten Orchestra in 2009, the International MusicMotorcycleClub in 2012, while also runnning various parallel individual musical and artistic projects. The connections between music, art, sound and experimental gesture is the general field that TinTin Patrone is interested in. Many of her creations focus on the visual elements of music, the tension between conceptual ideas and physical existence, and the question of how we deal with music individually and as a society.
