Gregor Praml trifft Tamar Halperin & Andreas Scholl

Mousonturm Saal bestuhlt

Concert/Discussion

What do the Israeli harpsichordist and pianist Tamar Halperin and the countertenor Andreas Scholl have in common? Love of music and each other. Both are world-renowned soloists with impeccable training. But when they do something (artistic) together, the result doesn’t necessarily have to be classical. As a duo their works include the highly personal ‘Family Songbook’ with songs from the Middle East and classic Western lullabies that have been recorded in a studio in their idyllic timber-framed home with numerous members of both families – Tamar’s family from Israel and Andreas’s relatives from Kiedrich in the Rheingau. Tamar Halperin has already been a guest on the digital version of the LOKAL Listeners On The Road this summer. Now both stars will visit the Mousonturm as soloists and in a duo and trio with Gregor Praml on the double bass.
