The LICHTER Film Festival overcomes its boundaries in 2016 and presents handpicked international films about migration, flight and border conflicts, about visible and invisible, personal and social boundaries – all in their original languages and with subtitles. Simultaneously, LICHTER again also shows the best films from Hesse and the Rhine-Main region, as well as hosting talks and lectures on the subject of “boundaries”. Once again, the festival also features the LICHTER Art Award 2016, as well as plenty of live music, parties and unusual cuisine.
