Maya Verlaak, Andy Ingamells and Paul Norman are about to finish their PhD at the Birmingham Conservatoire (UK) which is renowned for teaching John Cage, Conceptual Art, Fluxus and Performance alongside the traditional musical canon and technical mastery. In their three lecture performances Ingamells and Norman connect composition and performance practice and research strategies and systems that reexamine the relations between sounds, things and acts.
