At the end of our HTA lecture series “Collaborations, Cooperation, Collectives – In/Stable Working Conditions in Art and Institutions”, we take a closer look at concrete artistic practices of collaboration. For this we have invited three representatives of three collectives and ensembles from the Frankfurt/Rhine-Main region: Katharina Pelosi, Katharina Stephan and Susanne Zaun. The Swoosh Lieu theatre machinists, as they describe themselves, use light, sound and video to artfully transform the theatre space into a place of joint negotiation. Mobile Albania leaves the theatre to try out site-specific forms of assembly in urban and rural spaces. And the Zaungäste process the presentation form and organizational patterns of choirs.

Im Wintersemester 19/20 laden Hessische Theaterakademie und Künstlerhaus Mousonturm zur Ringvorlesung “Kollaborationen, Kooperationen, Kollektive” ein. HTA und Künstlerhaus Mousonturm sind Unterzeichner der Frankfurter Erklärung der VIELEN.
Biography
Susanne Zaun
Susanne Zaun studierte am Institut für Angewandte Theaterwissenschaft in Gießen und an der Universitetet i Bergen in Norwegen. Ihre erste Regiearbeit Dreckig tanzen (2005) wurde u. a. zum Körber Studio, zum Festival „radikal jung“ nach München, zum Festival Premières nach Straßburg und zur Internationalen Sommerakademie am Künstlerhaus Mousonturm eingeladen. Dem Mousonturm ist sie seither verbunden und produzierte hier ihre Arbeiten “Who the fuck is Macarena?” (2009), “Krieg spielen oder Ich würde niemals bösartig eine Suppe essen” (2011), “This Magic Moment oder Also Sie sehn schon echt fett aus in dem Kleid nehmen Sie doch lieber das andere” (2013) sowie “Mit den Beinen im Bauch. Eine Nabelschau” (2014).
