In Human Disguise

Mousonturm Saal

Performance/Dance

A piece like a Finnish sauna – deeply warming, robust, naked: in their performance In Human Disguise (Sat., 11.10., Sun. 12.10.), choreographers Eeva Muilu and Milja Sarkola explore the existential fundamentals of human existence. Four naked woman standing on a giant white carpet. Free from cultural, public and social status, they begin by posing like statues and then develop their relationships to each other, to the bodies around them and the gazes of the audience. Moments of motherly love transform into anger and despair, into violence, into joy, into uncontrollable fits of laughter. In Human Disguise was awarded the “Prix Jardin d’Europe” in 2012.
