Philipp Hochmair is Jedermann. In a passionate tour de force, he slips into all the roles and turns Hugo von Hofmannsthal’s play into a many-voiced monologue. A dialogue with two microphones. One for Jedermann and one for the others. His Everyman is a rock star. Driven by guitar riffs and experimental sounds of the band Die Elektrohand Gottes, Philipp Hochmair transforms the 100-year-old mystery play into an apocalyptic spoken concert. “The Story of the Rich Man’s Life and Death” becomes a haunting overall experience and makes Everyman recognizable as a contemporary who burns up in his insatiable greed for money and intoxication. The theme is timeless and eternally valid: “What is left of my life when it comes to dying?”

The price is per seat. At the time of booking, the two double seats must be bookedseparately. It is possible to book entire lodges with two double seats or single seats on the parquet floor.

Philipp Hochmair & Die Elektrohand Gottes
Nach Absolvierung des Max Reinhardt Seminars ging Philipp Hochmair nach Paris, ehe er am Thalia-Theater und später am Burgtheater große Erfolge feierte. In Theaterkreisen berühmt wurde Hochmair 2018 durch seine Stegreif-Performance des JEDERMANN bei den Salzburger Festspielen und seine One-Man-Show JEDERMANN Reloaded, mit der er seit 2013 durch die Lande zieht. Philipp Hochmair ist Darsteller in zahlreichen Kino- und Fernsehfilmen. Unter anderem: „Die Vaterlosen” (Marie Kreutzer), „Der Glanz des Tages” (Tizza Covi, Rainer Frimmel), „Die Auslöschung” (Nikolaus Leytner), „Kater” (Händel Klaus) und „Freud” (Netflix). Größere TV-Bekanntheit erlangt er als Minister Schnitzler in der ORF/ARD-Serie „Die Vorstadtweiber” sowie als blinder Inspektor Alexander Haller in „Blind ermittelt”. In der dritten Staffel der Fernsehserie „Charité” spielt er eine der Hauptrollen, den Gerichtsmediziner Prof. Dr. Otto Prokop. Zuletzt hat er die Hauptrolle, Reinhard Heydrich in der Verfilmung der Wannseekonferenz verkörpert.
