They are two old school friends but their lives could not have evolved more contrarily: Alan, ignored in school, becomes a successful gourmet critic and bestselling author, while Craig, the high school super star, ends up homeless on the streets of London. When they meet again as if directed by fate, Alan helps his old friend out. Soon, everything changes again.

John Niven (*1966, Irvine, Scotland) played guitar in the 80s for “The Wishing Stones”, studied English Literature in Glasgow and worked as an A&R manager at a record label. He began writing in 2002 and has since published “Music from Big Pink”, a semi-fictional novella about Bob Dylan and The Band in Woodstock, “Kill Your Friends”, a dark satire about the music industry, and more.
