Apparently, the Belgian couple find most contemporary electro pop concepts boring. With their slow and relaxed approach to tempo, they rather remind us of old heroes like Portishead or icons like Björk. In 2013, the duo released its debut album Yorokobi’s Mantra. After gigs with Alt-J, Morcheeba and S O H N and an 8-track EP, Joy Wellboy released their sophomore album Wedding. Their new album “Les Pieds Dans La Merde La Tête Dans Les Etoiles“ was released in January 2017.
