Heinz Strunk, actor, musician, author and founding member of Studio Braun has written a new novel. The hero of his new book carries the same name as Heinz Strunk does in real life: Mathias Halfpape. It is the story of a childhood spent in the town of Harburg and the surrounding region – a wonderful look back on a damaged childhood and adolescence filled with melancholy, pain and love. A surprising book for Strunk, but also one in which he remains fully true to himself.
