Battles are being fought: against racism, for women’s rights or against capitalism. For the ongoing project collective these battles are often far too isolated from one another and lacking fundamental solidarity: “How can the demands of factory workers, freelancers, refugees, the unemployed, care workers, etc. be formulated in such a way that their interests become a general interest? Together with unionists and alliances for strike action, prostitutes, journalists, rappers, professors, economists and organizations for the blind, we set out in search of contemporary class consciousness.” This series of talks is an artistic research project spanning several cities. The ways in individual concerns can be formulated to become a shared initiative will be collectively negotiated in a concluding performance in September 2017.
