Station 17 look back on a band history of 25 years. Founded at the initiative of Ex-Blumfeld musician Kai Boysen by members of the in-patient residential group 17 at the Evangelische Stiftung Alsterdorf and non-disabled musicians, the band’s principle even today is: every track is produced by a team of one impaired musician from Alsterdorf together with one non-impaired music producer. As a result, they have collaborated e.g. with guest musicians such as Fettes Brot, Stereo Total, the Goldenen Zitronen and DJ Koze. For their most recent album, they brought in Strizi Streuner from Frittenbude. The result is Alles für Alle – a song about diversity and unconditional participation.
