Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm

Two men find themselves – and each other – on a stage that is simultaneously a playing field, battle arena and lovers’ nest. As alternating rivals and partners, they measure, hold and test the other body in order to chart out a field in which not every engagement is actually an attack. The La Danse de Pièze choreography by Héla Fattoumi und Eric Lamoureux, the successful directors of the Centre Chorégraphique National de Caen-Basse Normandie in France since 2005, focuses on the anthropologist Malek Chebel’s neologism “homsensuality”.
