Dieudonné Niangouna / Compagnie Les Bruits de la Rue

(Paris/Brazzaville)

Le Socle des Vertiges (Fundament des Taumels)

Mousonturm Saal

Performance/Schauspiel

If you grow up with violence, it becomes a part of life, omnipresent in language, thoughts and emotions. Dieudonné Niangouna, associated artist at Mousonturm since 2014, dissects a childhood and family history marked by brutality in a country shattered by colonial rule and civil war: an explosive cascade of words, an attack on existing conditions, an impertinence. And one of the most impressive contemporary theatre experiences from Africa.
