Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm

In photography, creating paintings with light is called “light writing”. Rio de Janeiro based artist João Penoni goes one step further in his performance Lúmen by recreating his body as a statue of light. The traces of the tiny lights attached to his body embrace and devour him.
