Matthias Nadolny and Bob Degen, masters of the musical give-and-go, present their new CD collaboration at Mousonturm in Frankfurt. Matthias Nadolny, tenor saxophonist and longstanding jazz professor at the University of the Arts in Essen, has his own, very personal sound. His playing is marked by an immense amount of air, while he has almost perfected the high art of omission. Bob Degen, a permanent feature on the Frankfurter jazz scene with American roots, received the Hessian Jazz Prize in 1994 and has made a name for himself with his skilful piano playing at the crossroads of tradition and modernity.
