The Incredible String Band drew attention to itself as of one of the most unusual bands of the wild 1960’s by ignoring musical conventions and blending epic folk with psychedelic sounds, blues and world music into a visionary mix: this sound congenially embodied the coolness of the flower power generation, their interest in Eastern mysticism and new forms of coexistence.
