Revelling in the limelight while balancing along the abyss, Tobias Bamborschke – singer and guitarist of the band Isolation Berlin – has mastered the art of captivating his audiences. Now he has published a volume of poems. Despair, self-sacrifice, insecurity, anxiety, exclusion and humiliation – the 29-year old manages with almost uncanny ease to find words for the melancholia of an ego struggling to find happiness.
