The year is 2030: the national-conservative parties have taken over Europe. All people within the fortress are under total observation by the State. Any form of resistance is met with long prison sentences or the death penalty. Opposition has quietly gone underground. In the catacombs of Warsaw’s cultural palace, we partake in a conspiratorial concert meant to unite the Polish resistance movement. The creation of a new nucleus of opposition prepared to spread across Europe. After the political hype surrounding Krzysztof Minkowski’s production “O dwóch takich co ukradli księżyc” (The Two Who Stole the Moon), Warsaw’s one-of-a-kind actress Marta Malikowska returns to the stage with punk. Her dystopian performance-concert confronts us with question of when democratic tools are no longer sufficient to stem the tide of inhuman politics.

Biography
Krzysztof Minkowski
Krzysztof Minkowski, geboren 1980 in Szczecin (Polen), studierte Theaterregie an der Berliner Hochschule für Schauspielkunst »Ernst Busch«. Seine Diplominszenierung Die Reiherkönigin. Ein Rap von Dorota Masłowska war am Maxim Gorki Theater sowie beim Kaltstart-Festival in Hamburg zu sehen. Es folgten diverse Engagements als Regisseur in Deutschland, Polen, Dänemark und der Schweiz. Mit Tschechows Drei Schwestern in Jelenia Góra erhielt eine Einladung zum Warschauer Theatertreffen. 2010 inszenierte er Ilias von Homer mit Flüchtlingen aus Bosnien und Herzegovina am Heimathafen Neukölln in Berlin. Krzysztof Minkowski arbeitet zudem seit Jahren als Regisseur in Berliner Justizvollzugsanstalten. Am Luzerner Theater brachte er Invasion von Jonas Hassen Khemiri zur Schweizer Erstaufführung. Zuletzt inszenierte er Molières Tartuffe am Theater Magdeburg.

Wojtek Zrałek-Kossakowski
Wojtek Zrałek-Kossakowski geboren 1982 in Warschau, ist ein Künstler, der in den Bereichen Theater, Musik und Kulturanimation tätig ist . Im Theater arbeitet er als Regisseur, Dramaturg und Komponist. Seine Texte als auch die Inszenierungen finden bei den Festivaljurys in ganz Polen Beachtung, u.a. bei Klasyka Żywa Festival, Kontrapunkt Festival, Radio- und Fernsehtheater Festival “Dwa Teatry“. Abseits des Theaters, ist er auch in der Musikwelt unterwegs, wo seine Hörspiele viel Anerkennung finden. Der musikalische Kurator im Kulturzentrum Nowy Wspaniały Świat in Warschau. Der Urheber vom MUSICATON Programm in Rahmen des 7. Berlin Biennale und vom Hörspiele Festival „Do usłyszenia na Placu Defilad”. Gelegentlich auch als DJ tätig. Als Musikproduzent arbeitete er u.a. mit Candelaria Saenz Valiente und Marcin Masecki. 2013 war er der stellvertretende künstlerische Leiter und Co-Autor des Programms vom „Łódź Czterech Kultur” Festival . In Jahren 2016-17 war er als Dramaturg bei dem Warschauer Teatr Studio beschäftigt. Wojtek Zrałek-Kossakowski ist außerdem ein Übersetzer und Publizist. Seine Texte wurden u.a. bei „Krytyka Polityczna”, „Gazeta Wyborcza“, „Glissando” „Kultura Popularna” veröffentlicht.
