The Choreographic Coding Labs are one of most prominent outcomes of the Forsythe Company’s Motion Bank project. They offer software designers as well as artists the unique chance to transform dance and choreography in digital forms and allow choreographic thinking to enter into their work. The visionary and interdisciplinary potential concerning the fusion of choreography, dance, programming and digital art will be introduced, discussed and presented based on examples of past labs.
