My Bubba is what the Swede My Larsdotter and Bubba Tomasdottir from Iceland call themselves, as they conjure up delicate, emotional, but also playful and energetic music with guitar, banjo and lap harp. The duo has toured with Damien Rice and written songs with Matthew E. White. They recorded their new album together with Shazad Ismaily in his New York Studio Figure 8 Recording – most songs were sung for the very first time during recording.
