This March, we welcome Nick Klein from New York to the Geheime Salon. His live sets are successful acoustic experiments between minimal, electronic rhythm arrangements and harsh walls of sound. His releases on L.I.E.S Records, Ascetic House and others prove that this sound transports itself equally well on recorded mediums. On his own label Primitive Languages, Klein moreover collects and archives many highly active protagonists of the electronic US underground scene. At the turntables and under the name S-F-A-S, we have Alisha and Antonio – two Frankfurt DJs, producers and label operators (e.g. Schonen, Smashing Tape Records, Raw Ambassador) whose name shines far beyond the city limits.
