Nkenguégi is a thorny plant – both protection and imprisonment. It is also the story of boat gone adrift on its way to Europe. The only survivor in this sinking ship is stuck somewhere between life and death. His delusions make up the play: confessions of a man condemned to wandering the seas with no promise of rescue or safe harbour – never to see land again. Dieudonné Niangouna reads from his newest theatre text, which will premiere in 2016. Nkenguégi is the last part of a trilogy that also includes Le Socle des Vertiges (October 28 & 29 at Mousonturm) and Le Kung Fu (2014).
