Music for children doesn’t always have to be sweet and well-behaved. This fantastic rock band proves otherwise: Okay Tilda’s concerts inspire at least three generations with their special brand of family rock music. Rebellious, cheerful, modern! Okay Tilda doesn’t do ding-dong kid’s sounds. They play modern rock tunes and look extremely good while doing so. Their lyrics don’t conform to the classic pedagogical stipulations of children’s music, but rather focus on provided entertainment for families with open-minds. Their songs feature children as young rebels – finally allowed to do what has otherwise been forbidden: eat lots of sweets, say the word “shit” or simply stay up all night. On their debut album, 13 fantastically rocking songs are waiting to encourage cool kids and young-at-heart parents to throw their hands in the air and shout “Yeah, the world is bright and beautiful”.
