To be part of open mike just once! – This is the dream of many young authors in this country. The most important literary competition for new talent, held every year in Berlin, is considered a door-opener and a showcase. If you win here, you’ve got your foot in the door of the literature business. Many a career got its kick-start from the open mike. At any rate, the winners are now on the road: to Vienna, Frankfurt and Bern to read from their award-winning texts and to talk about them. We are hosting the prize-winning tour group for the second time now and welcome them and you to take some time out between armchairs and brocade, and down a soft or stiff drink at the Mousonturm Lokal.
