Jacques Palminger, member of Studio Braun and Fraktus, and his 440Hz Trio are devoted to jazz from adult wonderland. Together, they lasciviously dance through 1960’s Paris, climb up endless musical ladders to the most beautiful song in the world and sail by ship through the bittersweet pop sea. Palminger’s vivid lyrics fluctuate between wicked comedy and ludicrous drama. The 440 Hz Trio, having meanwhile grown into a quintet, gather even more Hamburg artists, such as former Die Sterne organist Richard von der Schulenburg, bassist John Raphael Burgess, Olve Strelow on the drums, as well as Jan Heinemann on vibraphone and Lydia Schmidt as singer.
