With Interpol, the Britain born, US-based Paul Banks has helped the aesthetics of reserved detachment to new sheen. With more than two million albums sold worldwide, the group is one of the most important new rock acts of the last decade. The band is currently taking a time out, during which various members have launched projects of their own. As one of the first, frontman Paul Banks is releasing his solo album “Banks” in Germany in early 2013  – on January 28th live at Mousonturm in one of only four concerts – with soulful songs of emotional sincerity and compositional authenticity.
