There for the finding: a wealth of footage from private lives. Home movies, road movies, fauna and flora. International guests present exquisite programmes featuring films from the 1930’s to 1980’s taken from their collections and archives, projected in the original formats as Standard 8, Super 8, or 16 mm. The first festival day is dedicated to amateurs; the second focuses on gender relationships in home movies. Autobiographical films by the directors will run as prologues and epilogues, giving enlightening as well as unfathomable twists to the fatherly ciné film inheritances.
