Queer B-Cademy – Teachings of Post-Academic Knowledge

Performance/Workshop

The “Queer B-Cademy” transforms the Künstlerhaus Mousonturm into a temple for the distribution of queer knowledge. It supplements and simultaneously breaks free from the A-cademy – that institution, which reproduces its own structures of power and exclusion. Artists, activists and the audience come together to focus on queer utopias, futurist practices and intersectional perspectives. Workshops meet new concepts of wellness; imagination is elevated to a tool for social justice. The “Queer B-Cademy” is an unapologetic desire for new structures, a boot camp of solidarity and a temple of uniqueness. B-sides b-ing listened to, b-liefs formulated and new b-f-f‘s made, it is safe to say – there will also b some dancing!
