“Aural Drift” is the result of an ethnological research into soundscapes by artist Budhaditya Chattopadhyay, who spent two weeks investigating the sonic structure of specific locations in the city of Offenbach. He is particularly interested in the visible and invisible transformations that these places are going through. For EOS Radio, Chattopadhyay condenses a special half-hour contribution from his research results.

Biography
Budhaditya Chattopadhyay
Budhaditya Chattopadhyay is an Indian artist and researcher based in the Netherlands. He uses sound, text, and image in multimedia works and publications to explore and document contemporary phenomena such as ecological and social change, migration, and decolonization. Chattopadhyay studied New Media at Aarhus University and received his PhD in Sound Studies from the Academy for Creative and Performing Arts in Leiden.
