Students of the Gießen MA program Choreography and Performance (CuP) occupy the Mousonturm together with students from the Amsterdam School for New Dance (SNDO) for a four-day festival. Beyond established hierarchies of events, they explore new dramaturgies for dealing with time and space. Thus they conceive the course of a day in terms of choreography and distribute it over a period of several days. Can time thereby be slowed down to allow a search for alternative forms of participation? Aside from the presentation of short pieces, installations, interventions and open formats invite visitors to discover or provoke reactions and discussions.

Biography
CuP
The international study program Choreography and Performance at the Institute for Applied Theatre Studies at Giessen University combines artistic work and embodied practices with reflexive approaches and critical thought. It stands for an expanded notion of choreography. Concepts of the body and movement are not only analysed and discussed in relation to performance and visual arts, but also in regard to their relevance for actual aesthetic, social and political contexts.
