In the mornings, the streets are empty. We sit in rows, dutifully and well behaved. We don’t look out the window. We learn something about the world. But today, we put away the books and take our neighbour by the hand. Raise the curtain – for today’s school outing. The performance “School Outing” opens a window for the audience to take a glance behind the scenes of the (school)system, the world of disciplinary strategies and packed lunches.

Biography
Arthur Romanowski
Arthur Romanowski arbeitet als Autor, Performer und Regisseur und studiert Angewandte Theaterwissenschaft in Gießen. Nach langjähriger Spielerfahrung am Maxim Gorki Theater und am Staatstheater Wiesbaden in Projekten von Armin Petras, Felicitas Brucker, Carlos Manuel und Tiago Rodriguez entstehen seit 2010 eigene Autoren- und Regiearbeiten. Für „Irgendwas für Irgendwen an Irgendeinem Tag im Juni“ erhielt er 2018 den Preis der Körber Stiftung Studio Junge Regie. Im Juni 2019 entsteht eine Produktion am Jungen Nationaltheater Mannheim.
